Pension Estrella - Madrid

The staff gave me THE best tips on what to see and do in this fabulous city. And oh, the Callao Metro Station was my personal magical carpet to explore the rest of Madrid!

I always stay at this cozy place in Madrid. The friendly staff helped me find my way, and it has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, a TV, a lift, and easy check-in/out. Perfect for my city break.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room had all the necessary facilities, like a fridge and microwave, and it wassuper clean and cozy. The location was perfect with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Excellent location tucked behind a main street, perfect for a solo traveller. Less than a minute walk to the main strip and ten minutes from the Royal Palace. Anna, one of the workers, is extremely nice and willing to use a translator to communicate. Easy entrance and exit after check-in. Access to everything in the city. the hotel is located on a quiet street, so it's not noisy at night. the room is clean and tidy, with daily cleaning service. Well-heated room in the winter. Elevator to the second floor and an excellent shower. the hotel also allows guests to leave their luggage for a few hours.

The elevator, although small, was definitely useful for getting to the second floor. The shower was excellent and the own private bathroom was a great feature. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Plaza Mayor, Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, and other popular locations was a major plus.

There were some negative aspects to our stay. We found hair on the bed that did not belong to us, and the room was not properly cleaned throughout our stay.
